
Oana Andreea Macovei
Oana Andreea Macovei is a Law graduate from University of Bucarest, holding a double LLB from the Faculty of Law in Bucarest and Collège franco-roumain d’études européennes (Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University). After an LLM in EU Law, she obtained the PhD from University of Bordeaux-(EU as a third party to Member States agreements).
Since 2015, as an Associate Professor in Public Law at University Toulouse Capitole, she is a Member of the Institut de recherche en droit européen, international et compare (IRDEIC-Toulouse) and an associate Member to Centre de recherche et de documentation européenne et internationale (CREDI-Bordeaux). She is the Director of the LL. M. (M1) International Economic Law (M1-IEL) and the LL.M. Cross Border Disputes (M1-CbD) at the European School of Law (ESL) in Toulouse.
At the ESL, she led multiple projects in the professional orientation pilar for under grands and post graduate students: Study Tours in Brussels and Geneva, supervised projects with Airbus, Pierre Fabre and International Law firms and conferences on the legal professions in international and European Law. She is the co-founder of ESL Legal Lab and the Professional Module on European Careers for LLM IEL and CbD Programs. She is currently the co-founder of the Core competencies for international and European careers collection with Pierre-Jean Thil.
