Oana Andreea Macovei

Oana Andreea Macovei is a Law graduate from University of Bucharest, holding a double LLB from the Faculty of Law in Bucharest and Collège franco-roumain d’études européennes (Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University). After an LLM in EU Law, she obtained the PhD from University of Bordeaux with research on EU as a third party to Member States agreements. 

Since 2015, as an Associate Professor in Public Law at University Toulouse Capitole, she is a Member of the Institut de recherche en droit européen, international et comparé (IRDEIC-Toulouse) and an associate Member to Centre de recherche et de documentation européenne et internationale (CRDEI-Bordeaux). She is the Director of the LL. M. International Economic Law (M1-IEL) and the LL.M. Cross border Disputes (M1-CbD) at the European School of Law (ESL) in Toulouse. 

At the ESL, she led multiple projects in the professional orientation pilar for LL. B and LL.M. students: Study Tours in Brussels and Geneva, collaboration with Airbus, Pierre Fabre and International Law firms and conferences on the legal professions in international and European Law. She is the co-founder of the ESL Legal Lab and the Professional Module on European Careers for LL.M. IEL and LL.M. CbD Programs. She is currently the co-founder of the Core Competences for International and European careers collection with Pierre-Jean Thil.
